  They stole our money! My Mom and I are disabled. We have the same consistent income coming in monthly. We wanted to rent monthly. We provided them with all of the paperwork required. 4 years of rent receipts, with only 1 month being 3 days late. We were told we had a place to rent. Then get a phone call three days before, they had not received approval. The next day they needed additional information. We provide it to them. We call daily checking on the status of our application. Mind you, my whole family had a very bad flu. My Mom, me, and my two daughters were very sick with a flu that was not covered by this years flu shot. Thursday, they say to drive the 30 miles to the park and wait in their parking lot, and they would have an answer for us by closing. We told them to call us. They called and told us we could not stay there because our disability was not a consistent enough income. They kept our $75.00 deposit, and gave us the run around for alnost two weeks. We had nowhere to go after that. They scam people with the deposit. Tell them it should be no problem, then wait until the very last minute to tell them they are not a suitable applicant. SCAM ARTISTS. Plus, their park is down in a Valley. If you look around, there are hardly any plants on the hills. If they have a good rain, they are going to have a devastating landslide, burying all of those trailers under the mud. Few survivors. Very frightening. You can see where the land is already coming down the hill, and they have trailers backed rifht up to the hill.

  THIS IS A SELF-SEEKING VENTURE THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE WATERSHED ISSUES. OTHERWISE, THERE WOULD BE NO BUILDINGS AND DEVELOPMENT IN THIS AREA OF THIS CAPACITY. Wells are going dry in our area and Oregon's drought will not be good here either! EVERYONE WHO LIVES NEAR THIS MESS ARE ENTITLED TO FILE COMPLAINTS AND START LEGAL ISSUES BECAUSE THIS KIND OF WATER USE AND HUMAN IMPRINT IS NOT SUSTAINABLE AND THE OWNER OF THIS JOINT APPEARS TO NOT CARE WHAT HE DOES TO THOSE OF US WHO HAVE INVESTED INTO OUR HOMES AND FARMS. HOPE VALLEY TREATS YOU BAD AND THEY TREAT FOLKS WHO LIVE OUT HERE BAD! IF YOU PUT A "RESORT" HOME ON THIS LAND AND YOU SUDDENLY DO NOT HAVE WATER - Y.O.U. HAVE TO DRILL YOUR OWN WELL AT 30 PLUS GRAND OR IF IT IS A COMMUNITY WELL, ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE TO CHIP IN - UNLESS OF COURSE THE STATE WATER FOLKS DECIDE TO PROTECT SENIOR WELLS (EVERYONE WHO HAS LIVED OUT HERE LONGER THAN THIS JOINT) AND THEN YOU HAVE TO TRUCK WATER IN - AT YOUR EXPENSE. YOU CAN GO TO THE OREGON STATE WATER DEPARTMENT AND LOOK AT THE WELL LOGS IN THIS AREA - LOOK 15 MILES AROUND BECAUSE WE ALL SHARE THE SAME SOURCE OF WATER....ALSO WE DID NOT HAVE A SNOW-PACK AND IF WE DO NOT GET ONE NEXT YEAR - WE ARE ALL IN TROUBLE. THE SNOW-PACK FEEDS OUR AQUIFERS AND THE CITY OF SALEM WILL BE DRAWING ON THEM. THIS AREA OF THIS "RESORT" IS PART OF THE SOUTH SALEM HILLS WHICH ARE ALREADY GOING DRY.
